How it Works
At Evergreen Stables, we provide full-care horse boarding and horseback riding lessons in a quiet, family-run facility dedicated to horsemanship and responsible horse care. Our approach prioritizes each horse’s well-being, striving to create an environment that supports their health and comfort.

Boarding Includes:
-
Feeding: Hay and grain are fed three times daily, with additional hay provided throughout the day during turnout or when horses stay inside due to weather. We do not feed round bales to ensure the best possible personalized feedings.
-
Turnout: Group turnout encourages natural herd behavior while keeping genders and personalities and mostly separate to maintain a safe and balanced environment.
Your horse’s welfare always comes first.

Feeding & Nutrition
-
Horses receive hay and grain three times a day to mimic natural grazing behavior as closely as possible.
-
Supplements and medications are administered at no extra charge (provided by the owner).
-
During turnout, horses receive individual hay flakes or fresh grass, depending on the season.
-
Heated water trough is available all winter long.
Turnout & Recovery
-
Group turnout is available, with horses carefully placed in compatible herds. There can be private turnout for very short terms based on injury or for specific reasons.
-
A 20' x 20' recovery pasture or 80' round pen are available for short-term injuries, providing rest while keeping horses social and comfortable.
Seasonal Comfort
We ensure horses have blankets and fly masks as needed. Blankets are put on when it's too cold and removed when it's too warm—at no extra charge and without the owner needing to be present.
Our priority is keeping each horse comfortable in every season.
If your horse requires a fly mask year-round, we’re happy to accommodate.
