About Us
A Family-Owned Stable Built on Passion, Experience, and Exceptional Horse Care
At Evergreen Stables, we are a family-run business with a deep-rooted passion for horses. Our journey began in 1986, when we first started taking riding lessons. Shortly after, our family became involved in ESRAS horse shows, and it wasn’t long before we welcomed our own horses—marking the beginning of what would grow into Evergreen Stables.

In 1994, we moved to our current 20-acre property with just two horses. By 1995, we began offering seasonal lessons, running from May to October, weather permitting. In 1999, we expanded significantly, building our indoor arena and new barn, which allowed us to offer year-round lessons and full-care horse boarding. Since then, we’ve been dedicated to teaching English and Western riding while providing top-notch care for the horses in our facility.

Our Barn Manager, Jennifer, is a graduate of Cazenovia College with an AAS degree in Stable and Farm Management. She was a member of the IHSA Cazenovia College English team and Western team, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to our program.

With multiple pastures, an indoor arena, a round pen, and a dedicated recovery pasture, our facility is designed to ensure the well-being of every horse. Best of all, we live on-site, so your horse is never left unattended. Whether you're here for lessons or boarding, you can trust that your horse is receiving the highest standard of care in a safe, welcoming environment.
